"How...? I just did. The tea, idiot..." The prince retorted. He would not be lying in that bed again, for in fifteen short minutes the man would be unconscious. Right now it was his chance to test the truth serum aspect of his trickery. "What do you even want from me? Money? My father's crown? You won't be getting any of it."
The man lay down, feeling a little bit lazy and sighing, his head was starting to get dizzy anyways. "I want to start a war is what I want to do." It just slipped from the man's mouth. "Money is nothing to me, I have enough of it." His body was starting to get tingly but he didn't seem to notice.

"Why did you do this to me!? What made you kidnap me!? Why me?! How did you even know about me!?" The prince was getting riled up. He was furious with this man for everything he had done. He demanded to know what the fuck was wrong with the man, along with every ounce of his reasoning for his actions.

"The woman you are set to be with, yeah... I was there that day. Why not kill the prince to the woman he was going to be wed? Two kingdoms fighting is a perfect plan, let them wage war while I just wait on the side until both are completely weak... Take over the both of them." He grinned at his own plan, thinking of how ingenious it all is. "But then once that plan fell through I planned to kill you myself and leave you back at your father's doorstep with their crest."

"But you bought me!! How!? Why?! You intended me to be your slave!! WHY?!!?" He exclaimed, getting even angrier with the man. He had to inform his father, the king. He had to stop war from breaking out. First he needed to know why him though...and who this man was and where he came from.

"Because you are the perfect choice, a rebellious child that doesn't want anything to do with an arranged marriage." The man huffed, his chest feeling a little tight, breathing slower. "Since I basically am going to kill you there is no problem with me raping you. It would be quite an honor."

The prince growled deeply with this information. "Who said I was against arranged marriages?" He had to find out how he knew such information.

"Aoi did, he told me everything. I hired him." He tried to sit up, realizing he can't. "What's wrong with me? Why can't I move?"

"How should I know?" The prince scoffed, lying about drugging him. If the man knew he surely would have his men do something to the boy. "Just who do you think you are to do all of this!? Who are you!?" He interrogated the man, who had never even told the boy his name. It was time Prince Kassanova got down to it and got to his last questions so he could flee with ease.

"Ikuto..." He said with a little less strength, his head was really starting to get heavy. "I am an opposing prince, that is why I'm doing it... All the land I can get for my people." Ikuto's vision was getting a little worse, "Hand me that pitcher of water." He ordered, reaching out for it.

Prince Voltaire looked at the pitcher and simply knocked it over, causing its contents to spill everywhere. He also took the opportunity to grab up his gown and quickly put it back on. "Prince of what country...?" He asked, getting some rather useful information from the man. If he could deliver this information to his father, so much good could be done from it. An entire underground ku could be stopped.

"of the black geldings." He answered, looking confused of why the prince was no longer listening to him. "What are you doing?" His hand weakly outreached from Nova's gown, to latch onto it.

"What country?" The prince asked again, spotting the man's hand and merely scooting back to be just out of reach. "Answer me." He ordered, after all he was still the one with the most power and this situation proved it.

"Black Geldings you idiot of a prince." Ikuto still had a small temper despite all this. He didn't even realize what he was saying, everything he spoke he forgot just after it was said. "What did you do?" He could realize something was up when his vision was really starting to blur.

"I didn't do anything." Again Prince Voltaire lied. He had to, he even asked of the country again because it was one he had never heard of, meaning it must mean extreme danger for him to never have heard of it. Perhaps he was not told to keep him from getting scared, most likely ordered by his father. So he really did care after then? The prince had asked the last question he had, now all he had to do was wait. "Just so you know...You will be caught and you will be executed for your crimes. My father will see it through to the end!"

Ikuto didn't bother to growl, just trying to reach out to the prince again, Kassanova was far from his reach though. "Get over here." He ordered, barely able to concentrate. The prince was really going to wait until he was completely unconscious? He began to try and call out, realizing his voice was finally gone from him.

The prince did nothing, he simply sat and watched with menacing eyes, waiting for him to pass out so he could make his move. He was rather on edge from waiting.

Ikuto's eyes finally shut; his body relaxing and his hand relaxing from reaching out. The herbs had worked very well. Prince Kassanova was now finally safe from the man, the only daunting task left was to find a way out of this area. The water had soaked the inside of the entire tent nearly, it was time for the prince to get moving. Outside not to far off was the man's horse, it would only take a few minutes to reach it.

Prince Kassanova waited a few seconds and then got up, walking over to the man and kicking him right at his crotch a few times, the hardest he could with his strength. The man didn't even flinch, but he knew he probably did a great deal of damage. He went to the entrance of the tent and opened the fold slightly, checking the area for patrols. No one in sight. He immediately went to his escape point and crouched down, peering out. Again no one in sight. He swiftly maneuvered his body under the tarp and began to make his escape. He was not very sure which way the river was from here, but he headed in the direction he thought best. He quietly dashed, careful not to attract attention to himself. He was headed for the horse, but had no intention for its use.

"Woah~" Someone whispered out quickly, grabbing up the prince's arm to stop him. Keeni pulled him back, pulling him against the base of a tree. "Where are you going?" He asked, looking like he had a glare on the prince.

"L-Let go...!" The prince whined. He was so damn close to getting away. He squirmed to try and get away, he was far from finished. "Please let go I have to get away!! I-I'm sorry I almost got you killed!! Please don't hurt me!! I have to get away from here!!" The boy was beginning to shake again, tears begining to form.

"I'm not going to hurt you, I want to help." He reassured, still his hand didn't leave Nova's arm just in case. "There are many men all over this place, where do you plan to go?" He didn't know how the prince's mind worked. Satoru: i think i have fan girls watching me now TT_TT))

"Th-The river....please let me go...I-I have to!!" The prince muttered. He couldn't lie this time, he had to get to Aoi. He was so damn close he couldn't stop now.

"The river?" Keeni thought that was a pretty good idea. The river would lead into the towns and villages. He pulled the prince over to the horse, hoisting him up onto it and helping prepare for the prince to leave. "This is to show my gratitude." Keeni explained why he was so eager to help. "You spared me knowing you could be in much more trouble." Keeni pointed to the direction he should go, "Take that way, it will lead you over a steep hill and through muddy terrain, but it is the safest." He said, gently patting the horse's end for it to begin walking. "I'll stall them away the best I can." He waved.

"Th-thank you...I shall tell my father of your kindness..." The prince returned. Kicking at the horses sides he galloped off into the forest, following the directions he was given. It wasn't long before he reached the hill he was told of and began to ascend.

Aoi remained hidden in the brush, the horse tied a distance away to be hidden just in case any of those men were to check around the river's edge. He heard a rustling of a different horse, preparing his weapon and staying deathly still. He took a secret and sly glance at the forest floor, a set of extremely muddied hooves walking just pass him. He remained totally silent, not wanting to give out his position as the horse stopped in its tracks. "H-Hey...Why did you stop moving...?" The prince asked the horse he was riding. He looked around him, examining his surroundings. The moon shone through the canopy of the forest enought to light up the terrain. The river sparkled brilliantly and the forest was beautifully still. "Aoi isn't even here, come on keep moving..." He sighed when the horse did not listen to his orders. Aoi easily recognized the voice, putting his weapon away and standing up from the brush. "I'm here Nova." He grabbed up the horses reigns, spooking the horse a bit. "Whoah it's alright." He calmed the horse, "How did you manage to sneak away?" He asked, wanting to know everything as he helped the prince down from it. Satoru: The prince nearly fell off the horse from being startled by Aoi's sudden appearance. "Aoi!! What is wrong with you!! Do not scare me like that!!" The prince exclaimed. After giving himself a few moments to regain his composure the prince gave Aoi a slight glare. "I put him to sleep." He stated. Once again he seemed to revert to his princely spoiled ways. "How though?" He asked, finishing to pull the prince off the horse. He didn't think that Nova would have any ability what so ever to have handled Ikuto. "And how did you manage to ride off on one of their horses?" He was basically left with a gaping mouth, setting the prince on the forest floor. "I made him herbal tea...then I took his horse." Prince Kassanova did not give him the information on Keeni seeing as how he still did not trust him that well. He had been told that Ikuto had hired Aoi to kidnap him and take him to the camp. Why would he trust him after learning that? "We will leave tomorrow when the sun starts to rise." Aoi said, turning back to where he was hiding, bringing out a few large salmon that he had caught from the river. "Tonight I'll make you something good to eat. It's best we travel during day." He put the fish on a rock, taking out his blade and began to cut into the fish. "I made you a resting spot." He motioned to the fur blanket that Nova had forced to take with the guard. It was neatly laid out just for the prince's comfort so he wouldn't have to sleep on the leaves. "Fine then..." The prince moved to the blanket and sat on it, he didnt really care what he slept on at the moment. He was just happy to be away from the man and to be somewhere safe. Tomorrow he would begin his trip back home and he could not wait. Seeing Yuki and his father again. Ren. Ren would be there too! Maybe now he would be able to have his knight back! After all...Aoi 'had' kidnapped him.

It got very quiet, Aoi working silently but devotedly to make it a good meal. He managed to make a small fire even with the blowing wind that followed the river. "If you need me to I can wash your clothes at the river, they look a little dirtied." Aoi offered, cooking some of the fish on heated rocks. He was going to make absolutely sure they were edible for the prince's taste. Nova's gown was quite dirty with specks of mud that flung off the horses hooves when it had trotted through the muddy grounds. Some of it ripped up from the brush he had passed due to a tall horse and low branches.

You will do no such thing Aoi...I will get new clothes once I return to the castle." He turned his nose up at Aoi, he would not allow Aoi to see his body. He was fully unworthy and the prince would make certain he knew it. "Continue your work, I am hungry."

"Yes Nova." He chuckled, seeing the prince was back to his old self. He concentrated hard on it, making sure absolutely no bones of the fish were in the food for the prince. He washed a large leaf off very well at the river, placing the fish onto it and bringing it over. He held the leaf for the prince to take it. "There you go." He said, gently handing it over. Aoi knew that Nova probably didn't like him being referred to like that anymore. The nickname.

Satoru: "I did tell you not to call me that....did I not?" The boy took the meal from the man and inhaled the rather delicious aroma it gave off. "Also...you are speaking to someone of royal blood. Have you forget that fact? You are to stand on ceremony in my presence." Looking at the fish a bit apprehensively, he wasn't sure what to do about eating the food. He had no utensils...

"Yes your highness." Aoi sighed heavily, clearly showing he honestly didn't care to stand on ceremony in the middle of a forest. He stood up, moving behind the prince to sit on a rock and wait for him to eat his meal so he could cook some for himself.

Hesitantly his royal highness picked a bit of the fish up with his fingers and brought it to his mouth. As he ate the food he took in the texture and taste of it. He had had fish before in the palace, the royal cooks always prepared a succulent meal for those of royalty and their guests; however, this was different. The prince could taste the natural flavor of the fish instead of all the seasonings the chefs added to his meals back home. It was completely different. It was strangely sweet, but not like candy, a rich flavor which struck quite a chord with his highness.

Aoi just hung back quietly, watching the prince and trying not to let out a yawn. It was a very tiring day and he just wanted to eat and sleep. He took a small glance at the prince's slender drooped shoulders, wondering what the prince was thinking about the fish. "Is it good your highness?" Aoi asked.

"Indeed...It is like nothing I have ever eaten before...Such flavor...It is quite amazing. I had no Idea fish tasted like this..." Prince Kassanova continued to eat, enjoying the meal a great deal. Before he knew it he had eaten almost half of the entire meal. Looking at it he sighed and looked back at Aoi, handing him the rest with a cute almost sad expression with his eyebrows furrowing upwards. "Here...you have the rest..." He whimpered quietly to himself, feeling a little bit of pain from having reached his limit. His eating habits had not left him at all. He could no longer eat any of the food, he was beginning to feel grossed out.

"That's alright prince, I'll just make more for myself." Aoi said, coming over and setting the food Nova offered to him onto the side of the a rock. If Aoi were to be proper he wouldn't touch anything the prince has touched. He kneeled beside the fire, beginning to work on his own food. "Tired prince?" Aoi asked, glancing up to Nova.

"No..not really..." The prince sat and looked up at the sky, gazing at the stars through the trees. 'I have never seen this before...it is indeed quite a sight to behold..' The prince thought to himself as he relaxed as best he could while watching the sky. 'Perhaps once I return to the castle Kichiru and I could see thi---' Catching himself in the middle of the thought of relaxing with Ren, watching the stars together, the prince shook it off and blushed, not believing what he was just thinking. Why would he think of such a thing? Passing the question off he looked back up at the sky and litterally watched as time passed.

Aoi kept to himself, finishing up cooking the fish. "What are you looking at your highness?" Aoi asked, following Nova's eyes in a beeline up to the stars. "Haven't seen them before this clearly have you." Aoi's lips curved into a gentle smile.

"How can I when I am to stay within the castle walls? At night I am to stay in my chamber...I dont have the ability to view the sky." He sighed, wishing his father would give him just a bit more freedom. Perhaps once he gets back to the castle Ren will be ordered as his guard again, and with such a great and completely loyal guard he would be allowed somemore freedom? Oh how he hoped that would be the case..."It is nice to see..." He layed back on the ground and kept his eyes fixed on the stars above him.

"You like the stars, but what about the woods? They are just as mysterious..." Aoi said, putting his fish on a leaf and eating where he had been kneeling near the fire to keep himself warm. he was a very quiet eater, taking his time since he had nothing else to do. He didn't mind just doing nothing with the prince like this... It was nice.

"Do not remind me..." The prince let out a quiet whimper. Yes the woods were indeed mysterious, but not like the stars. The woods were creepy, there were sounds the prince was completely unfamiliar with. It scared him when he payed any attention to it, which is why he would not take his eyes off the stars. He didn't want to think about the woods and get scared.

Aoi quieted, letting the prince relax a bit and just continue to gaze at the stars if he wanted. Aoi wasn't going to start an argument, he really could get into one if he wanted to. He loved the woods, but he knew the prince would most likely not like hearing of it. "Are you alright prince? Injuries? Are you cold?" He asked, standing up to get ready for himself to sleep for the night, working on putting out the fire so they wouldn't be spotted by anyone.

There came no answer from the prince. Aoi had asked the question just a few minutes too late. The prince had already fallen asleep, he was curled up on the fur blanket, his body shaking lightly from the cold night air. He was exhausted from his fleeing and all the planning he put into it. He used so much of his strength to fight off Ikuto's advances, it totally drained him.

Aoi smiled, chuckling inside as he had realized the prince was already way ahead of him on sleep. He managed to put out the fire, putting dirt onto it first then putting some water over it with a few trips to the river and back. He went to the horse a distance away, coming back with an extra fur blanket and putting it on top of Nova, making sure he got all the warmth he needed to sleep all the way through the night. The knight went over to a nearby tree, climbing up into it and laying down on a sturdy branch. He was in clear sight of the prince, easy to reach if anything were to happen.

----------------------------------------------------------

Satoru: Once morning arrived, the prince awoke to the sun shining through some of the trees, right on his face. He sat up rubbing his eyes and reached out to pet his loveable little Yuki to say good morning. When he did not feel the soft fluffy Snow Leopard next to him he opened his eyes and looked around, instantly getting sad remembering where he was. He looked for any sign of a person and saw no one, not even Aoi. "A-Aoi!?" Where had he gone? Why would he just leave him in the middle of the forest by himself?! "Aoi????" The prince whimpered, not getting a reply yet. Satoru: nova woke up first fyi))

Aoi gave a light groan in response, having stayed up most of the night paranoid to make sure no one would be passing by. His hand fell from the branch, almost falling off of it but having continued to balance in his sleep. His dagger dropped onto the ground, sounding a small thumb to indicate he was basically in the tree right beside the prince. He looked dreadfully tired, more than normal.

The prince heard the thump of the dagger as it hit the ground. He did not notice the man in the tree nearby. When he looked around for the sound, a glint of light from the sun's reflection off the sheath caught the prince's eye. He saw the dagger and his eyes went wide. The prince screamed, terrified someone had found him. How could he not be freaked out by a dagger that close to him? His shriek of terror was not quiet either; it could have been heard over a mile away.

Aoi was startled by such a loud pitched scream, jolted upright he had lost his balance, trying to grip onto the tree but instead falling nearly flat on his face on the ground below. It was only a few feet, but damn that hurt. "What's wrong!?" Aoi jumped up even through the pain, reaching for his dagger realizing it was gone. He didn't see anyone except for the prince clearly frightened, the horses spooked terribly.

"A-Aoi???" The prince looked at the man who had fallen from the tree with a puzzled and terribly confused look. "Wh-what were you doing up there...? Where were you??? How did you even get up there?" The prince was very confused. The man had come out of nowhere... what was he doing this whole time?

"I was sleeping~" Aoi rubbed his head, starting to feel the pain of falling. He shifted around, looking around the forest floor for his dagger. "Oh..." He found it easily, picking it up and putting it back in his belt. He gave a crooked smile, "You ok?" He chuckled, not realizing the whole reason Nova screamed was because he had been startled so heavily.

"Th-that was 'your' weapon!? I though someone had come after meeee~!!!" The boy was rather upset, his body was trembling quite a bit. "I thought you left me here..." He whimpered and gripped tightly onto the blanket that had been placed over him the night before.

"U-uh-Never your highness!" Aoi continued to rub his head. "I'm always at your side... or up in a tree in this case." Aoi chuckled lightly. "I'm glad you woke me though, we have to get going... with a scream like that you could really attract about anything in the forest." He stated.

"C-can we wait a bit though...I-I have to...." The prince blushed slightly, not sure of what to do...he had been so startled by the stupid blade, he needed some...relief. Back at the castle he would have no problem in taking care of it, but not way out in the middle of such a vast forest...

"ooooh...." Aoi glanced around, eventually he pointed to a bush. "Right there would be fine." He said bluntly, as if the prince would be accustom to this type of thing. Satoru: "What?" The prince gave him an apalled look, how could he suggest such a thing to someone of such royal blood as the prince he was supposed to be serving. "How do you expect me to--"

"Just do it prince, no one is watching and I won't watch either." Aoi pointed to the bush a little more sternly, they had to get going soon. He gently pushed the prince's back, nudging him foreward over to the bush. "Go on, do your thing." He tried not to chuckle at it, trying to keep his stern and firm composure.

The boy whimpered, doing as told. He went behind the bush and returned several moments later. He came back over to Aoi, who was getting everything ready to go. "Alright..." He stood there and waited for Aoi to get everything completely ready.

"Did you go?" He knew the prince better than that even when he hadn't been the prince's guard that long. "Too shy?" He chuckled, taking the saddle from the horse Nova stole and putting it on the prince's horse instead.

"That is none of your business." He watched Aoi work, refusing to tell him if he had gone or not, which he did. "Why are you doing that? What was wrong with my saddle?" He questioned. He wanted to know about what Aoi was doing and planning.

"We are not riding on separate horses, and yours is causing the horse some skin problems." Aoi said, finishing to strap it up. "Here." He grabbed the prince up before Nova had a chance to argue, putting him on top of the horse then getting on as well. "Clydesdales aren't meant to be ridden, any trainer to give you such a horse is an idiot." He stated, kicking the horse gently. He had set the other one free not too long ago while the prince's back was turned.

"In that case why did you choose this horse and not one of the others? It is your fault this animal is in bad shape now. And what about my saddle? That is a very expensive piece of royal distinguish. It is not easily replaceable Aoi and it was made special for me. Everyone one in the royal family has their own..." He was a little sad to have it be left behind. It was something of his very own, when he doesn't have many things to call his own, he was sad to see it go...just like Ren...

"Either lose the saddle or don't get back home." Aoi said bluntly, "besides, that saddle didn't have a smith's signature on it... It was a knock off.." Aoi didn't want to ruin it for the prince but it was the total truth. That saddle wasn't even specially made for the horse. "You can always just get another, you are in fact the prince are you not?" Aoi said sarcastically, the horse trotting its heavy hooves through the woods.

"Th-that's....not fair...." The prince hung his head, sad to find out such a thing. He liked that saddle...he was told it was for him...why did they lie? He just hung his head low as the horse trotted onward. As long as he was going to go home it was ok, wasn't it?

Eventually they reached a small opening in the forest, a plain full of long grass. "Stay quiet prince." Aoi informed even though the prince was already quiet. The plain was full of flowers and brush, a luxury for the horse to be traveling through and to eat as it slowed and walked. "This is a vulnerable location for us." Aoi kept his eyes peeled; anyone who was looking out from the heavy forest would be able to easily spot them.

"If it is so vulnerable then why have you brought me here?" The prince questioned quite suspiciously. Why would Aoi run the risk of traveling through such a dangerous place that it surrounded on all sides by the very dense forest. Was he planning something? The prince was unable to tell for sure what Aoi was thinking, or if he even was at all.

"Because it will cut our time, it would take a lot longer if we continued to travel with the heavy amount of trees causing us getting you home to be a puzzle." Aoi slowly continued to let the horse eat as they let the horse walk slowly, keeping as quiet as they could.

As Prince Kassanova looked around the field he began to feel a sense of unease mixed with danger. He could tell something was wrong; the forest had gotten quite again, just like the day before when the same thing happened just before the evil prince's men attacked. He did not like this feeling one bit, he wanted nothing more than to be safe again, totally safe.

"You alright prince, you seem a little uneasy." Aoi said, knowing that it didn't comfort the prince they were at a higher risk for danger. They were now nearly half way through the plains, smack dab in the middle where anyone would be able to see.

"A-AOI!!!!! OVER THERE!!!!!!" The prince screamed at the top of his lungs, seeing something shimmer off in the distance, at the edge of the tree line to the northwest of them. He could not tell what it was. Armor? A sword? A pair of eyes? He had no idea what to think, but it scared the hell out of him none-the-less.

"What is that!?" *add between northwest of them. and He could not tell*

Aoi quickly looked over, drawing out his sword. He chuckled, realizing what it was. "Baka prince." He rode over to it, on a fallen log was a mirror... He realized it was a trap after he picked it up, realizing it was meant to distract them. From behind them a horse came flying with a rider on top, an bow pulling back an arrow and aiming straight at them.

The dark clothed figure heading straight for them on the fast black horse let the arrow fly. Aoi quickly guarded the prince, turning his horse away to block the prince's body from the attack. He kicked at his horse heavily, getting it to run as the arrow pierced the armor, but not fully going through it. "Hold on prince!" Aoi ordered, working the horse, they needed to get back into the woods.

"Aoi who is that?! What's happening?!" He was terribly frightened, and the recent events of the day before did not help his nerves on bit. His heart was pounding extremely hard and whenever he swallowed it felt as though he was swallowing his stomach. The boy was incredibly tense and couldn't even force himself to relax, but then again, in such a situation who would even be able to?

"I don't know, hold on!" Aoi said over the roar of the stomping feet of the horse, sharply turning to dodge another arrow. He didn't know any guard in the kingdom that was excellent of such archery. It had to be someone from the woods. He took another sharp turn, this time the arrow catching some cloth of Aoi's clothes, missing. "God dammit!" Aoi barked, kicking the horse even stronger. The horse the prince and Aoi were riding was at a clear disadvantage, the horse wasn't meant for running, and on top of that there were two people on it, slowing the horse down much more.

Prince Voltaire was panicing, and strongly at that. "Aoi I don't want to be taken back there!!!! I don't want to die!!!! Please make it STOP!!!!!!" The prince was screaming very loudly, the panic he was in was distracting Aoi on a very high level. He couldn't help it though. Kassanova was a very innocent child, one who had never wronged anyone; he only wanted to be safe and out of harm's way. He wanted all of this to hurry up and stop, someone was needed to protect him and the only person he could think of to fulfill that task was Ren.

Aoi was constantly burdened, every time the prince talked he had to listen to make sure it was important or not, he felt an arrow sling against the saddle's underside, suddenly the both of them flung off the horse, the saddle coming with them. Aoi tried to protect the prince from the fall the best he could, using his body as a protective landing. They hit the ground roughly, the arrow stuck to Aoi's armor pushing through and snapping off just as it pierced the skin. Aoi basically pushed the prince off, needing to be quick even if it came at the prince's discomfort. He reached back, unable to pull the arrow's end out, he couldn't reach it. "Pull it out." Aoi ordered the prince, the black horse coming straight for them.

"A-Alright.." The prince tried as best he could to grip the tip of the arrow as it was sticking out of the man's skin, getting covered in a bit of blood. He had a bit of a difficult time on account of the blood making it slippery; however, after only a few short moments he was able to grip it well enough to pull it out, and with one sharp and forceful tug he had done just that. He held it out for Aoi to take, thinking for some reason he wanted it. "What do I do with it???" He couldn't think at the moment, everything being so tense and stressful.

Aoi took it, tossing it away and managing to stand. "Run for the woods, I'll take care of him." Aoi ordered, pulling Nova up and shoving him closer to the woods to tell him to hide. Aoi pulled out his sword, preparing to attack the stranger. The man flew past him though, leaning himself over and grabbing up the prince, shoving him over the horse.

"Wh-what the?! N-NO!! PUT ME DOWN!!!" The prince began to kick and thrash about, trying with all his might to get away, which he knew he would not be able to do. "SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!"

"Put him down!" Aoi yelled, trying to catch up but the horse was so much faster. He had no bow, no arrows. The horse began to circle Aoi, all the while the man holding onto the prince, as if to tease the guard that the royal boy was just out of his grasp. Aoi pulled out his sword, the horse fleeing to the end of the plains and stopping on the edge.

"It's alright prince." Ren's voice said quietly into the prince's ear, having adjusted the prince to sit on the horse's saddle. That voice was so easily recognizable under the dark disguise of clothes.

The prince looked up at the man holding onto him. All he could see of the man's face were his eyes, eyes that were light blue and filled with extreme kindness. "N-No...I-It can't be....Ren!?" The prince could feel that he was on the brink of tears and he probably looked like it too. Such a soft and gentle voice, yet deep and very masculine, one that could belong to no one else but Ren Kichiru.

"Shhh.. act like I'm still the enemy. I'm going to put Aoi in a trap." He ordered, pulling out rope and pulling the prince's hands in front of himself, tying them loosely to the boy, but just enough to make it look tight. Aoi was still running towards them, a distance away still.

"But...Kichi...He was saving me..." The prince watched Ren as he worked and thought about the situation. He remembered everything that had happened to him. Everything, all of it was Aoi's doing. Aoi was a very bad man and could not be trusted any longer. Ren was right. "A-Alright....you are right..." The prince lightly began to struggle against Ren's actions, pretending to be in the clutches of an enemy yet again. "N-No!!! Stop!!!!" He made sure he could be heard across the field by Aoi.

Aoi continued to run, jumping over a log that the horse of the enemy had jumped, the ground suddenly collapsing from under him. He fell a good amount of feet, landing roughly in the steep pit. "Good boy." Ren leaned down kissing Nova's cheek since that was all he could reach at the moment while on the horse. He trotted the horse over to find Aoi stuck in the pit so far down. "It's an old wild cat trap I had found... thought it would be good use." Ren chuckled, pulling out an arrow and aiming it right at Aoi's head. The man deserved to die for all he had done with the prince.

"W-Wait! Don't kill him!!" The prince protested. "Aoi knows things, he needs to be taken back as a captive. My father needs to know what Aoi knows!! Then and only then will he be executed! This blood should not be splashed on your hands!" Prince Kassanova hated the thought of Ren killing like this.

Ren kept his arrow pointed only for a while longer, deciding the prince was right. "Fine..." Ren said, putting the bow and arrows down. "Here..." Ren reached around Nova, untying his wrists. Aoi growled in hate, he didn't like the sight of Ren with the prince. "When we get to the kingdom we will inform the location of where Aoi is.. They will come back for him." He told the prince.

"Alright." The prince did not care to argue the subject. He was wanting to get home with Ren, to safety, as soon as he could. As long as someone would be sent out to fetch Aoi it would be ok right? No danger could come from that, could it? The prince shook the contradictory thoughts from his mind, not wanting to think of frightful things any longer.

"Hey come back here!" Aoi hollered out as the horse turned and walked off. Aoi pounded his fist angrily at the durt wall until he could feel the injury at his shoulder get sore. It hadn't been deep, but it definitely hurt.

The horse continued to walk, the pace of the horse at a stride. "Are you alright prince?" Ren asked, finally taking off the cloth covering his face as they got into the woods. He had marked the trail of where he had tread, a smart way to find his way back to the group. He wanted to check Nova's body all over for injuries, but he wanted them to get to a safe haven first.

"Yes. I am fine. I thank you for coming to my rescue Kichi." The prince smiled happily for once. "I just have one question for you..." The prince paused, watching Ren's expressions and actions rather closely.

"Sure, anything my prince." Ren smiled back, pleased with having finally managed to rescue him.

"What took you so damn long?! I was waiting for I don't even know how many days!!" He pounded lightly on the knight's chest. "Where were you Kichi!? I thought I was going to die!!!!" He could feel himself on the brink of tears again and stopped himself, simply turning his head away so Ren would not see.

"I am sorry prince..." Ren didn't know what to say, "They wouldn't let me go out on my own to find you until later..." Ren wrapped his arm around the prince's chest, taking his hand up and grabbing Nova's chin gently to have him turn and look at his knight. He noticed the tears welling up. "I am so sorry..." Ren's voice was full of regret, he had no idea what all the prince had exactly been through yet.

"W-Well...You came to get me in the end...I suppose I will forgive you..." The boy reached up and wiped his tears away before they could begin to fall. "As soon as I return to the castle I am going to demand you be mine again Kichi...Only you can be my guard. I feel safe with no one else but you." The prince was adamant in this fact. He wanted Ren to be his again, hell, he needed Ren to be his again. Without Ren there to protect him, how was he ever to feel safe again? Who could he trust if not for Ren being there with him from now on?

"Of course." Ren smiled happily, beginning to speed up the horse. With that fact he couldn't wait to get back to the group, to get the prince back home as quick as possible. "Have you sustained any injuries my prince?" Ren asked in concern, wanting to know even of the smallest of cuts or bruises. He was so caring, concerned for the boy he had feelings for.

"It is possible, though I do not really remember...perhaps once we get to where you are leading us you can make sure...I do not wish to be in any pain..." He was merely suggesting Ren give him a quick look to make sure he was not hurt; in no way did he mean anything suggestive by it. He was still in only his sleeping gown and nothing else, maybe he could get a new change of clothes soon; a thought which pleased him greatly.

"Here.." Ren stopped the horse completely, getting himself off of it and helping the prince down. He would rather give the prince a check out of the eyes of the group first, so no one would take it and be suspicious of his acts. He set the prince on a large flat faced rock, pulling off his riding gloves.

"I'm not going to hurt you, I want to help." He reassured, still his hand didn't leave Nova's arm just in case. "There are many men all over this place, where do you plan to go?" He didn't know how the prince's mind worked. Satoru: i think i have fan girls watching me now TT_TT))
